Adam & Hayley – Cooling Castle Barn
This wedding at Cooling Castle Barn was photographed earlier in my career, but it remains one of my favourite venues to work at in Kent. My style has evolved over the years, and you can see my latest Cooling Castle Barn weddings and current photography style here.
You know those days when everything just comes together? Well this day was one of those. I met up with the bride in the beautiful Moat House at Cooling Castle mid-morning to start capturing the wedding of Hayley and Adam.
Normally during a quiet moment in bridal prep I go for a quick wander round the rest of the venue to plan any shots I need to get later on, and to get some pictures of the venue dressed and ready before the guests arrive. Cooling Castle Barn is one of those venues that has the instant wow factor when you walk inside. As you can see from the photographs it was dressed stunningly with a pastel/seaside theme.
The ceremony in the courtyard was beautiful and the weather stayed on our side. After the ceremony we popped out for some couple portraits but knew we needed to head back out a bit later on when the sun started to set. I am so glad that we did, the light was stunning and I managed to grab some lovely shots for the happy couple.
In the aforementioned wander around the venue, I'd already had it in my head that I wanted to do something a bit different from the norm with the wedding pavilion. So I set up a flash and grabbed the bride and groom. You can see the images that we created at the bottom of this post.
