Best of 2020

Well, where do we start with this year? 2020 started like all other years, with a few weddings scattered across February and March. Then corona hit. Before we knew it, the country had stopped in its tracks. Weddings were banned and only allowed to take place from August onwards, but with the tight restrictions in place, most weddings had to take place without a reception.

From March onwards, I have rescheduled nearly a year’s worth of weddings (and income) into 2021.

One thing is clear from this year. In times of uncertainty, people chose to get married, threw caution to the wind and decided to exchange rings. Sure, things weren’t as they had originally planned, but they left the ceremony as husband and wife. That of course, is the most important thing about a wedding.

I’ve put together a slideshow of my highlights from 2020. There are less weddings than normal, but still the same amount of happiness. A massive thank you to those who feature in these photos, I was honoured to be part of your wedding day. And to those who’ve decided to get married in the future, your day will come and it’ll be awesome I’m sure.

Here’s to 2021 being a better year for everyone!
