The Moat is the perfect space for you and your nearest and dearest to get ready, and the recently added garden is a stunning spot for bridemaids photos or for that all important reveal photo with your parents and/or your bridesmaids.
The venue has ample accommodation on site so your guests can stay then night, ensuring they’re ready to party the night away, knowing a good nights sleep is a very short walk away.
Cooling Castle offers multiple ceremony spaces. With one inside and the option of an outside ceremony in the garden pavilion, which offers the perfect framing for your wedding photographs.
How long have I shot at Cooling Castle?
I photographed my first weddding at Cooling Castle back in 2018 and have been back many times since, it’s definitely up there as one of my favourite venues in Kent.
What is the best locations for couples photos at Cooling Castle?
The sun comes down perfectly by the castle which illuniates the front of the venue, so as the evening sets in, it’s the perfect space for a few relaxed couples photos.
What is my favourite part of a Cooling Castle wedding?
I love that the venue is big enough enough to provide seperate spaces for the majority of the wedding day. Outside ceremony in the garden, then your guests relaxing on the patio and gardens and then into the stunning barn for the wedding breakfast as well as accomdation on site for the guests so they can truley let their hair down in the evening.
I also can’t finish this question without mentioning the food, the food at Cooling Castle is absolutely amazing!
What is a must have photograph at Cooling Castle?
Confetti! With so much space, a well organised confetti line can deliver some absolutely stunning photos with the gardens in the back ground. It’s also the perfect opportunity for your guests to get involved with the day!
The Tithe Barn then becomes your evening reception space, with plenty of room for a good size dance floor for your DJ or band. Your guests may make use of the outside space, which is big enough to enjoy but not so big that your guests will disappear during the day.
Every wedding I have photographed at Cooling Castle has been exceptionally well organised and the food is always top notch. A venue you simply need to check out if you’re planning a wedding in Kent.
