Eleanor & Joe – The Barnyard Twilight Wedding

Eleanor and Joe's day started at Green Farmhouse in Lower Halstow, a stunning B&B located in my home village. After Eleanor and her bridesmaid had hair and make up completed it was off to The Barnyard for a twilight wedding. The wedding date they chose was special for many reasons - it was the date that they got together and later got engaged.

After the intimate 5.30PM ceremony, the bride, groom and myself braved the dark and rain to get some shots. Eleanor and Joe always knew that the weather and getting dark early could prove a challenge, but were certain that we must get outside for some photos regardless of the conditions. Some photographers would shy away from challenges like this, but I love challenging myself to see what we can come up with and quickly (as it was chucking it down at this stage) Joe and Eleanor had an umbrella, but I wasn't so fortunate (note to self - might be time to take one to weddings..)

The party went on into the night, so I'll leave you with a few photos of Joe and Eleanor's twilight wedding at The Barnyard.
