Heidi & Tom – Chilston Park Hotel

Heidi and Tom chose the stunning Chilston Park Hotel as their wedding venue. Situated on the outskirts of Maidstone, it's a stunning venue to get married at. The bridal prep room was perfect for a photographer. Big windows let the light flood across the spacious room.

The ceremony was outside, as we were enjoying the glorious weather of late May, which is opposite to what we've currently got! The happy couple said their "I Do's", and we moved onto getting the group shots. We added an extra (or two ) into the ones we agreed. One happened to be Tom's football team, it wasn't until they were in position that they looked like they were in a wall, defending their goal from a free kick. So after another guest pretended to take the free kick, the whole group jumped to block the shot. Resulting in probably the funniest group shot I've ever done. Followed this was probably the longest confetti line I've ever done. It stretched from the hotel door all the way around the fountain.

We managed to fit in a couple of portrait walks using the stunning grounds of Chilston Park Hotel, which lends itself beautifully for some wonderful photographs. We even managed a night shoot as the light fell.

I wish Heidi and Tom all the best for their future, it was such a pleasure photographing your day and I hope the photographs provide many happy memories for years (or decades) to come!
