Jennie & Chris – The Gardens Yalding

I first met Jennie and Chris about a year ago to discuss their wedding plans. Thankfully they chose me to photograph their wedding at The Gardens in Yalding. Bridal preparations started off in at Jennie's Mum's home and it was quite a chilled out affair. The wedding cars turned up, and it was to my surprise that the car Jennie was travelling in was the exact car that my wife made the journey to our wedding in. It was great to catch up with Clive from Bouquets and Buttonholes again.

The weather hadn't looked promising all week, however we were absolutely blessed on the day. There was a hint of rain in the morning but the rest of day was completely dry and clear. Jennie and Chris had an outside ceremony as the weather was nice, if a little bit cold but the blankets on hand helped to take the edge off it. The ceremony was beautiful, with some lovely readings from people close to the bride and groom. The ceremony passed and having completed the group shots it was time for a stroll with the bride and groom around the stunning surroundings of The Gardens before returning so they could meet all their guests for their wedding breakfast. Just after the food but before the speeches we managed to steal 15 minutes as the light was so beautiful. This also gave Chris a bit of time to forget about the speech he was so nervous about, and focus on spending quality time with his wife Jennie.

As the evening drew to a close and the light faded outside, we braved the cold (it was only about 3 degrees at this point) to get some shots in the dark. The staff are amazing, the venue is beautiful and you'll be sure to have a lovely wedding day. As always, I'll let the photos tell the rest of the story.
