Kathryn & Harry – Poole Court

Wedding

This was a pretty crazy day, I was drafted in to second shoot for a good friend Martin. Unlike most weddings I photograph, this one meant I left my house at 5am on the day of the wedding. The drive to the groom prep location was just a casual 170-odd miles. Having caught up over a breakfast with Martin and hatched a plan for the day I drove to see the lads getting ready, whilst Martin went off to cover the bridal preparations. It's not often I cover a full groom prep, but it's completely different to bridal prep. The girls gradually get ready throughout the morning, having hair and make up and son. Whereas the boys head to the pub and then get dressed, do their hair and then go off to get married. Pretty simple, really!

Here's a few images from their day, and I'm a big fan on Volkswagen campers being used on wedding days!

Steff & James – Barnyard Twilight Wedding

2020 has not been the year we all hoped it would be, but one plus is that I got to photograph at The Barnyard's new setup for twilight weddings. Steff and James married inside the new Apple Barn at The Barnyard in Upchurch. It was a wet morning but the weather...

Hannah & Olly – Redlibbets Golf Club
