There’s no place like home

My Story

As a Kent Wedding Photographer I get to get out and around in our beautiful county more often than not. I get to visit some stunning places both in land and on the shore. However, nothing really comes close to that feeling of home.

I live in a little village called Lower Halstow. Which is located between Rainham and Sittingbourne. Set out in the country it has some beautiful spots that are no longer than a 20 minute walk away. One of my favourite places to go is up the hill between Lower Halstow and Bobbing to a little tree that stands in the middle of the field.

As a little tight knit community, I run Facebook group for anyone who is interested in photography so we can help each other out and organise little trips out. So this trip was arranged for mid summer when we were all bathing in 30+ degrees and arranged for the evening of the blood moon. Yep, you guessed it, after 6 weeks of glorious sunshine a storm rolled in and smothered any chances of us seeing the blood moon. However, we took the opportunity to take some photographs of the aforementioned tree and the views looking back to the village.

I hope you enjoyed my brief insight into where I live, as wedding season draws to a close I'll be looking into doing more personal blogs and there may even be more Lower Halstow content coming.
