It was a warm day in June and the scene was set at The Knowle Country House. This was the day that Emily would marry Matthew.
I started the day photographing Emily and her bridal party as they prepared for the day ahead of them. I love this part of the day, as I get to know the bride’s family and close friends. I knew we were going to be in for a fun day!
After a couple of emotional reveals to family members, Emily headed down the aisle of the stunning outside ceremony area at Knowle Country House. The well manicured gardens of the outside area provided the perfect back drop for the ceremony photos.
Before the wedding breakfast we did a lovely confetti shot and the standard group photos before I concentrated on getting some candid photos of the wedding guests. It’s often moments like this that offer up some of the best candid photo opportunities as guests congratulate the newlyweds. You can see one of the special moments in the photos below.
In the evening we were treated to some stunning light, which we made full use of, we took a wander around the lake out the back of The Knowle Country House to capture the all important bride and groom portraits. This also serves as a great time for the bride and groom to relax before heading back to the party!
Another wonderful wedding at The Knowle Country House, and I wish Emily & Matthew all the best for the future. Below are some highlights from their wedding day.
