Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, and choosing the right photographer is often one of the hardest decisions on the list. I get it. My wife and I felt exactly the same pressure when we planned our own wedding back in 2013. That experience is why one thing matters to me above everything else: you shouldn't have to worry about your wedding photographer, or your wedding photos.

I'm a Kent wedding photographer who loves good coffee, exploring new places, and spending time with my wife and our two children, Amelia and Josh, that's the three of us at the top of this page.

More than just a camera

For me, wedding photography isn't about turning up, clicking the shutter, and handing you a memory card full of images. My real job on your wedding day is making sure *everyone* feels comfortable around the camera, not just the two of you, but your family and friends too.

You won't find me hiding in a corner with a long zoom lens. I'm right there with your guests, chatting, blending in, becoming part of your day rather than watching it from a distance.

Real moments, not a rigid timeline

I've photographed over 300 weddings, and if there's one thing I know for certain, it's that no wedding day ever runs exactly to plan. And that's absolutely fine. If your timeline shifts, I shift with it. I'll never rush you along just to tick off a shot list, I'll be there quietly capturing the moments that matter, whenever they happen. Those unplanned moments are usually the ones you'll treasure most.

Just the two of you

Worried about not getting any photos of just you and your partner? Don't be. All we need is twenty minutes to slip away and walk around your venue together. No heavy posing, no complicated lighting setups,  just the two of you, away from the busyness of the day, having a few quiet minutes to yourselves. Some of the most honest, beautiful photographs come from exactly this.

Here for you, long before the big day

From the moment you book, I'm in your corner. Need a recommendation for an incredible cake maker or a brilliant videographer? Chances are I know exactly who to point you towards. I'm always happy to share advice, contacts, and a bit of reassurance in the run-up to your wedding day.

Every relationship is different, so I take the time to get to know you both: how you interact, what makes you laugh, what matters most to you. That's what allows your images to capture your personalities, your connection, and the true atmosphere of your day, photographs that feel authentic, meaningful, and entirely your own.
