WESTENHANGER CASTLE - KAY & ED

Wow…..what a wedding!  It was a day packed with emotion, the loveliest people and a hell of a party in the evening.

Kay & Ed live in Dubai but having grown up in the UK they decided to get married here. Fortunately, July delivered a beautiful sunny day, perhaps a touch cooler than Dubai though!

The day started at Westenhanger Castle where Kay got ready with her girls and her mum. Ed had left a video for Kay to watch which was a really lovely moment. After a heart warming speech from one of Kay’s bridesmaids, it was time to jump in the white vintage Jaguar and head to the ceremony.

The ceremony was at a local church, where it was Ed’s father who married the happy couple, what an amazing story to pass down the generations!

After the ceremony, the guests were whisked off to Westenhanger Castle in a double decker bus. The guests enjoyed the summer sunshine on the lawn at Westenhanger Castle.

Westenhanger Castle is nestled in 14 acres of countryside near the coastal town of Hythe. A stunning Kent wedding venue with medieval charm and use of the Grade 1 listed manor house.

The day led into the evening, where the guests were entertained by The Redfords. The dancefloor was absolutely rocking, the perfect way to finish off a stunning summer wedding.

I’ll leave you with a small selection of  highlights from Kay & Ed’s wedding at Westenhanger Castle.
