Sarah & Lee – Brenley Farm, Faversham
Not sure really where to start with this wonderful wedding. We were at the beautiful Brenley Farm in Faversham for the day. Sarah got ready in the house of Brenley Farm, a lovely historic house which is the perfect place for the bridal party to get ready. Brenley Farm isn't your standard wedding venue, this is a working farm. So it offers plenty of different opportunities for us photographers. I made full use of this by hanging Sarah's dress (with her permission of course!) on all of the empty apple crates over by the orchards. The ceremony was outside by the pond, and the venue area was beautifully styled by J's perfection. After a heartfelt ceremony, we got the required group shots done, and of course the confetti shot and then got over to the marquee for the reception. A stunning gin bar was put on by Sarah and Lee and was very welcomed by all of their guest. All served in vintage tea cups. One detail I didn't know about prior to the wedding is that Sarah and Lee are big Great British Bake Off fans. They decided that all guests should bring some baked offerings and they would be judged throughout the day with a winner crowned later that evening. That's a pretty cool touch, isn't it? If you've been keeping up to date with me over on Facebook or Instagram you'll notice recently I love photographing in orchards. So this wedding was no different. Me and the bride and groom walked over to the orchards to do some photographs of just them. We also visited other areas of the farm to get some photos. Making time for these photos is always a must in my opinion. You'll not only get memories to look back on forever but you get 15-20 minutes away from your guests to relax and chill. As the evening rolled on, fish and chips was served to the guests. As well as a candy floss and popcorn stand there was a face painting area for the children - well I say children VERY loosely! After the formalities of cake cutting and first dance, the sun was coming down so we decided to pop back to the ceremony area and the orchards. Those photos can be found at the very end of this blog post. Here's a few from Sarah and Lee's awesome wedding day at Brenley Farm. I wish Sarah and Lee all the best for the future as a married couple. I can't wait to put your wedding album together.
