Ashleigh and David – Valley View Alpaca Farm
Having photographed Ashleigh and Davids engagement session back in the summer, I knew this wedding was going to be a lot of fun!
Ashleigh and her bridal party got ready at Valley View Alpaca Farm, in a cosy little lodge. Ashleigh and her girls were so relaxed and therefore there was plenty of time for me to get shots of the details and of course the wedding dress. Knowing that the reception was back at the alpaca farm, I wanted to get a shot of Ashleigh’s dress that encompassed the venue itself. Ashleigh also had a cute little Citreon CV to take her to Hartlip church where she would marry her husband to be David.
The ceremony was fun and light hearted and the organist not adding in and leaving out verses of Ashleigh and David’s chosen hymns only added to the day and prompted a lot of laughs from the guests!
After the ceremony we organised the longest confetti run I think I’ve ever done! After spending 10 minutes (I’m not even joking...) removing the confetti from the bride we popped to the orchard just behind the church for a few couples portraits.
We then returned to the alpaca farm for the wedding reception, where the wedding guests were able to feed the alpaca and get the obligatory selfies too! After the evenings formalities were completed the dance floor was full all evening. This is how a wedding dance floor should be!
Of course, a wedding photographed by me would not be complete unless we got some shots after dark. The location was where I had hung the dress earlier in the day. It was a great was to sign off for the day and leave Ashleigh and David to enjoy the party!
Ashleigh and David, I wish you all the best for the future.
