Why I love black and white photographs
I don't hide the fact that I absolutely love black and white photographs, but why?
Black and white strips the picture of all the distractions and just leaves the subject to focus on. There's no colours, flashy logos, different colour clothing to take your eye away from the subject of the photograph. It's a great way to really show the emotion in a photograph. You can't just turn a photograph black and white and immediately it'll look awesome. It has to be a special type of photograph. Also the black and white conversion has to be done properly to help support the image, a quick black and white filter on your favourite social media channel probably won't do it justice.
Here is a collection of some of my favourite black and white photographs from weddings, enjoy!
